Gemini said these would not be announced until around Dec 9th? Are we sure this is a correct list?

Well it would seem they are listed on Gemini's Facebook page so. I think it's legit.

I suspect the AA 752 will be in the new scheme since N185AN is one of their 752's that have been repainted.

Wow - some interesting possibilities with the new 757-300(W) mould (I knew it was only a matter of time - like the 717, and maybe A318 in future), plus interesting to see Inflight 200's Convair 880 show up as a GeminiJets release.

Just the EI 757-200 for me in this lot - what a beauty!!
Thanks GJ.

Well good!!

But wow...A BUDGET BUSTER!!

So many good ones. Glad to see the Qatar C-17, I was preparing to go for the Hogan one that is coming soon. But I'll wait for this one.

Lots of new American & Delta and the 757-300 is awesome! Too many good ones will be hard to get all that I want.

I was really hoping for the 1/200 Virgin 787-9 and Etihad A380. Maybe next month.

I agree! A great month of releases! But man it's gonna cost. Both American's, and the Delta 753 for me! Maybe some others as well, but those three take priority.

I may go for the EI 757. But since we have it in this scale we should get it in 1/400 in January.

But of all the models they are releasing, that is the only one I am even slightly interested in and only because I love working on it

Very nice selection of releases. I'll probably get the DL 753 to go along my 752.

With all of these Delta releases, I surprised we haven't seen an A320 or perhaps a 717. Maybe next month!

Me too on the 753s - Northwest Airlines (final c/s), ATA Airlines, Condor (old yellow & D-ABON), JMC Air, and Thomas Cook (UK) will be brilliant subjects - amongst others.

The Delta Convair is a must for me! I hope we see some classic BAs or BOACs on the VC 10. I assume a UA 753 will be coming soon.

Considering that DL 753's have only just started getting winglets a couple months ago, and they have been winglet-less for 98% of their existence----non-winglet would have been a much more common/typical/representative choice.

I swear someone at GJ has a winglet fetish. No matter how rare they may be for a given plane/scheme combo---if it ever existed, THAT's the one they'll do, even if it means said model is not representative of 99% of the fleet. (I'm looking at you, whoever decided to make the Deltaflot 752 have winglets--when it was the only one in the entire fleet that ever had them, and only for a few months! Every single other one in the fleet didn't, so the model can't reprsent the average DL 752 of that era---which is a big ommission in the "history of DL" fleet)

I still need a Deltaflot 752 like I (and millions of others) flew on. But as all but one lacked winglets---I of course need a winglet-less one for my shelf to represent a normal common DL 752, not the short-lived one-off.

Another Delta-heavy month, so not much for me. Delta people are going to be thrilled with these releases. Finally the 763WL and a CV-880! Who woulda thought?

Though I might get the American Eagle ERJ-170. I won't get the AA 757 in the new livery even though I work for AA because it's the one plane I've despised in my career. Not from a safety standpoint or anything, but it's the worst cabin configuration of any plane in the fleet. Uncomfortable for passengers and crew both. I avoid working 757 trips like the plague.

Still looking forward to an eventual AA A321T.

Mmm I think it's the same. It's still has the too small engine inlets and the things(forgot how you called them) on the wings are still too oversized as the jcwings mould has.

You always mention the GJ Deltaflot 752 when you argue against models having winglets--and I'll admit you have a good point with that example. But in most cases, a particular airframe/livery combo modeled with winglets will inevitably have winglets for most of its existence. Consider a typical 737NG: airlines started retrofitting their fleets en masse in the early 2000s, when the planes were less than 10 years old. Most 737s will go on to fly for 20-30 years, so they'll be wingletted for most of their existence.

So I think it's fine for GJ to opt for winglets on their models vs. not. Even if they are a very recent addition to a particular fleet, as time goes on, those planes will be wingletted for an ever-increasing portion of their lives. Plus, if a 1:1 fleet has winglets or is in the process of being retrofitted, then winglets are of course required on the model for a current, up-to-date portrayal. I understand that a select few fleet builders or purists might want a "mid to late '90s" representation of a workhorse type, or something, but most collectors seem to want a model that depicts the latest incarnation of a particular aircraft. (I'm speaking solely of type/livery combos that are still in service; retro subjects are of course a different story.) I know you want a model of a plane as it was when you flew on it one time 15 years ago, but collectors who are frequent flyers want a model of the plane they flew on last week. That's one reason why brand-new liveries/combos are hot sellers, and GJ hurries to get them to the market (reference the two new livery AA releases in this lineup.)

And besides, I think APB winglets look great. Embrace them, man. It's not like we're talking about a 727 with winglets, which I'll be the first to admit is sacrilege. But it's a whole different story with the current types. I mean, 737s have been leaving the factory with winglets for almost a decade now...

I agree and feel your frustration. Like you and many others the only 1:200 I tend to purchase are aircraft I've flown on. I haven't flown on a Delta 757-300 in few years so obviously winglets were not on said aircraft.

Pretty good month though, The two Americans and Delta 757-300 for me.

I think aircraft that now have winglets dont look right without them anymore.... to me when i see a 737/757/767 without winglets it just looks strange... suppose its just me...

Im glad they have finally released the Delta 767 with winglets... as the previous version without wasnt for me....

100% agree! Aircraft without winglets now just looks odd and dated.

When was the last non wingletted 757 release of any airline?

Could it be that only the wingletted wing mould now exists?

Looking at the database it would seem like the JC AeroMexico examples released earlier this year.

I agree with aircraft looking strange without winglets these days - though I hope the non-wingleted livery combinations on 737/757/ & 763ERs are not neglected. There are still so many to do!!

Men, great releases!

As usual, already pre ordered the AA's. But looking forward in the future to see that Qatar with the A380 too.
Like the 753 and hoping for a United version in the very near future.
Great releases in my opinion. Something for almost every collector

Technically it is a Embraer 175LR (ERJ-170-200LR)

But in Gemini's defensive, since they listed it as a ERJ-170, technically all ERJ-175s are ERJ-170s just slightly stretched. Just like all ERJ-195s are technically ERJ-190s just slightly stretched.

Thank you for the information.
This model is longer than the EMB-170 Delta?

Yes.

Without getting to technical as far as the actual dimensions of each model you can see in the pictures of each model that the Delta has 19 windows whereas the American has 21 windows as each should have since one is a ERJ-170-100 (ERJ-170) and the other is a ERJ-170-200 (ERJ-175).

Wow!! Expensive times coming, with those JC releases and now this!

New AAs and 757-3 for me! Would prefer DL 880 in delivery scheme!
