and they will also loose if they do not improve their quality control.
I've bought very few PH as there is always problems and they are now simply a hit and miss manufacturer. JC are improving constantly and are the current leader.

Phoenix will also lose since they charge a crazy premium. I am rooting for Gemini/JC Wings

Phoenix have been on the up and up for years, i think there choice of releases mo0nth to month swing from brilliant to overkill, But phoenix do much more interesting liverys over all then gemini.

In 1:200 i think alot of the manufacturers are in cahoots, I thyink alot of production is in the same factory and JC are able to copy phoenix ideas at a cheaper price because phoenix are putting in most of the cost and all jc are doing is extending the run

I except to see a price increase from the JC/GJ factory next year like they did at the start of this year so I don't think the prices will be too far apart. Competition is good and if JC/GJ run Phoenix out of business then I don't think that will be good for anyone.

While I expect JC to produce a better product, I am definitely going to wait to see how the two versions of these models compare before buying.

I own one Phoenix and that is the Qatar 787 which I really like. I only purchased because the Inflight version was too dark so I went with the Phoenix. Don't expect to buy anymore.

I hate this. It's robbing us, the consumers, of the variety of releases we used to see every month. It will hurt us even further if one puts the other out of business. I don't know who's copying who but I wish they'd cut it out.

Since neither are releasing any Canadian airliners this month, I won't be supporting either right now anyway.

Isn't Gemini's parent company the official US distributor for Phoenix? Kind of ironic if they are.

Whatever i read from you is negative from the start.

well said that man!!! only it seems he is not the only one on here!!

think you will find its more between phoenix and jc. Gemini just seem to be caught up in it as they use jc's factory. trevor at ARD said yesterday there is 'no love lost' between phx and jc. they are just trying to outdo each other! which is no good for anyone. and they order far more jc models than phx when they release the same model!

The only positive outcome for us customers is that by doubling the output of the same subjects, supply will outstrip demand, so prices will have to be lowered in order to sell them all.

Interesting theory, but they use different factories, so not possible.

The so-called Phoenix factory makes only Phoenix models, and nothing else!

The JC factories make for JC, GJ, Herpa, & some IF/AV.

AC/WM are made in a different part of the country, so no collaboration there either!
