Default NEW Aviation 200 November Releases

Got this from Flying Dream Facebook page.

This Northwest DC-10 will be polished. There was discussion last week about the new Blue Box releases with the Northwest DC-10 as to why the old colors was not done. Well, here you go!

Would make a nice pair of models.

The CAAC 747SP and the polished Northwest DC-10-40 are very limited.

Since Aviation200 equaled Witty and Witty is dead and gone, isn't this just JC Wings. Or has another change taken place in the Chinese diecast group sex games.

How hard can it possibly be to add the word Orient and create a model that was more symbolic of Northwest Orient's DC-10 fleet than the interim, almost temporary, Northwest version?

One of my 2 DC-10 flights was on a NWA DC-10-40 LAX-DTW in June 2001. The registration isn't the same, but I will still get this one.

Hi WSobchak, I have the two original Northwest DC-10's, by AV 200, there not polished, but one version has the NORTHWEST ORIENT titles on it, so hopefully they will do this version in polished as well.

I have the AV200 version as well. I don't really mind the painted version, though I'd like to see what a polished version would look like. NWO DC-10's (or any other aircraft) were never really brightly mirror finished anyway. They were more a hodgepodge of various shades of shiny to dull aluminum patchwork.

Off topic: Can anyone identify the terminal with the five NWO 747s?

Hmm...the military types interest me -funny how earlier today I was wondering if they'd use the 880 for the Navy bird.(in it's final scheme)

Yeah, why bother with another CAAC when there's still the 747-2 to be done, then there's the long list of others CA A319/20/22/30, 767,747-8, 777-2.

In fact it would have made more sense to re-release the 707, this time with polished wings instead of that awful incorrect white they used on the first one

Nevermind. Figured it out. It's a sunset shot of Tokyo Narita before the terminal 1 expansion.

lol Quote of the year !!

Yeah the diecast industry is just one big wife swap

I find it funny how we all have our preferred manufacturers when in reality there all one and the same, just a different Chinese businessman pockets your money.

They all share moulds, they even use the same factories, the later is what makes it funny because while we talk about JC being better then GJ or visa versa, they all pretty much made by the same factory workers, just one brand may have higher QC standards then the other.

What I don't get is how they all share moulds, I would have thought a mould is what defines one manufacturer from the other, some have better moulds and others rubbish (cough Eagle) so then why share moulds unless you know that the mould you have is not very good or could be better. It's like KFC telling the local fried chicken take out joint what the 11 secret herbs and spices.

Not entirely true; AeroClassics have their own factory in a more civilized part of China, far away from the clusterfuk you are describing!!
