Upcoming Release from JC Wings - Etihad Boeing 787-9 on brand new tooling

Dear all,

Good afternoon, JC Wings is going to release the 1:200 Etihad Boeing 787-9 later this year (Approx late NOV/Early Dec) , please prepare your pocket for this bird! It will be using our brand new 787 tooling with two engine options(RR/GE).

Are you able to share any sample photos of the retooled model, Marcus? Great that JC is making improvement, even better if you can detail out the areas that went through improvement i.e. realigned cockpit windows (less curvy), proper single-piece engine intake ring, larger landing gears, etc.?

I usually don't collect airlines fom outside the USA, but this is pretty nice. I might just buy it.

I wouldn't count on that! I recently messaged JC Wings in the past few weeks and asked about Qatar A380. I got a response that it was not in the works nor planned. Sad :-(

Disappointing. It's tough to try and build a Qatar fleet. They did the a320, have a 350 due soon, so why not a 380 or 777? Strange decision making.

Very nice! Way to go, JCW. Love the livery. It's a refreshing departure from the all-white fuselages that seem to be dominating airline fleets these days.

And that is why I did not give this livery a chance at first sight. Just doesn't fit the A380 like it does on the 787. I cannot wait to see it on the 777-300ER!

Phoenix was coming out with these 787's left and right then suddenly stopped. There's not just Aeromexico but Kenya Airways, Xiamen Airlines, Royal Jordanian, Brunei, Thai, Avianca which have yet to be done.

While this is a nice release of Etihad, ANZ All Black ZK-NZE should have been first choice for release of JC's new 787-9 tooling since ANZ where the launch customer of the 787-9, regardless of Phoenix release

According to JC Wings....the ANZ will be coming soon. So I'd say could be in the same release set or shortly after.
