Yeah you're right. Herpa announces them too much in advance.

The Air Inter scheme is very nice on the Fokker 27.

Just one thing: It is a F 27-500 and the NLM is a F 27-200.
The -500 is longer by 1,5 m, that makes 7,5 mm in our scale.

I don't know which version was taken for reference.

The same happened with the Viscount 700 and 800, the difference was 1,17 m.
I think we can live with it.

Jean Pierre.

I think the Delta 737-900 for me too. Hope the new mold is good.

I like the current Hogan 737-900 mold. It just needs more printed details like wing striping and exit oaths, and a whole lot more releases!
Hope this one measures up.

If they got antennae for the 747-300 and 737-900, then count me in.

I really want that Swissair to be a great release...but I feel like it won't. Their newer 747-400s do not look good.

The An2 and the Hawkeye for me, will consider the B52 if it is a good scheme.

No, surprises me too..Was hoping for a Lufthansa next! But I am sure it will come sometime next year!

But on the other hand, I am very curious for the B743, hope they get that one right...and then...KLM please!

I am tempted to say :"Well done Herpa !".
But I am not so sure and I need to be convinced.

My Herpa Viscount which is a -700 has the wings and the engine cowlings of a -800.

-700 and -800 had the same wingspan but the last versions of the -700 had more powerful Darts and bulged cowlings were made to house these new engines which had a greater diameter.
All the -800 had bulged cowlings.

The Herpa model I have in front of me is an Air France V 700, an early -700, but it has the bulged cowlings of a -800.

Its length is 124,3 mm (yes I have a vernier caliper), it is a true -700.
A -800, standard nose, no radar, should be 129,5 mm.

Yes, it's nitpicking but to reduce manufacturing costs, I had accepted that the two models had the same fuselage …

Just for fun, can someone having a -800 measure its length ?

Jean Pierre.

Danke Schön !

Your Viscount is beautiful.
We are comforted in the idea that there are TWO different moulds, one for each version.
I confess that I was not ready to be convinced, it is a big investment in two different toolings for a detail that is ignored by many of us and almost unnoticeable.

Well done Herpa, I apologize for having been skeptical.

By the way, I can live with my bulged engine cowlings.

Jean Pierre.
