Default Compressed Air for models

Hello everyone, I was wandering Costco not long ago and they had the canned compressed air that is usually used for electronics etc.

I was wondering if anyone used this to clean off their models or it contained anything that may affect the model.

I keep my models in a detolf which usually does a good job for the most part, but I don't want to dust the model obviously when I'm cleaning it out.

Just wondering your experiences or ideas.

I find that the easiest way to clean dust off my models is to use a very soft brush. A large womens make up brush is cheap and is so soft that it wont scratch a model or break off even the smallest of antennas.

Generally, canned air won't do a great job of cleaning your models. Some dust clings because of a tiny static charge, and you have to actually brush the model to clean it off. Plus, you always run the risk of damaging the model, especially knocking off antennae on 1/200. A powder or cosmetic brush is best.
