Finally got round to taking of 2 recent arrivals! first up JC 747 HOUSE, picked up at Gatwick show last week from ARD. not an easy model to photograph on a bright day!

next. INFLIGHT AA DC 10!! Thanks to LESLIE for this beauty!! should also a special mention to MARK (24R) here. he runs AVIATIONDELIGHT.COM in Canada. Canada post wanted nerarly $200 cad for tracked shipping for this!! £100 gbp! but mark uses CHIT CHAT EXPRESS, which was just $54 CAD! plus they ship out of HOLLAND, so NO IMPORT CHARGES!! so had leslie post to him, and he re-labelled and posted on. this is the second time he has helped out with a Canadian
goes great with my AA 747!!

sadly yes. but biggest pisstake now is customs charge VAT on the SHIPPING CHARGES TOO!!! WTF???:e vil: they charge $18 per $100 value. so before I would have paid about $20 on 107.95 before now with added postage total $195 it would be nearly $36!! post office then adds $12 'handling fee' to any package. just for holding the model and letting you know there is a 'charge' to pay!

The house 747-400 is such an awesome looking bit of kit. Can't wait to pick mine up next week Rob! Nice catch with the AA DC-10...I've got the DC-10-10 version myself. So, you starting to make a AA mini-collection then? I have the Gemini MD-11 which is a decent model, tho I do see the attraction with the SMA version. I'd love this livery in a 757 and 767 too but damn they ain't cheap on the 2nd hand market...
