Excellent models and pictures.

One thing to notice is that by the time they started making Reutlingen, the mould was worn out significantly, so this one and TAP both suffer the terrible joint lines.

Good collection, add some 747 premiums....

Nice arrivals and great pics! You're picking up those photography skills pretty fast.

Enjoy your FedEx DC-10. It's one of my favorite models.

Stunning shots! Love the Malaysian Hibiscus. It needs to be made in diecast! Please, Inflight200, BlueBox, anyone?

Question though, why are the engines on that LH 737-300 angled upwards?

Totally agree with you in both thoughts mate. Malaysia Hibiscus must be done in diecast, surprises me that one has dare to make it true.

About the engines angles, I also noticed that dihedral angle. Perhaps the mold was very very worn before this model was in the production line, as smanish already said. The sandwich effect on this model is more than evident but I doesn't bother me as the model remains perfectly white. BTW, the engines on the real aircraft are a little bit upwards from front to rear but not that much like the replica.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Greetings from Mexico!

Nice arrivals Eric & great photography as well. You have to be a great researcher to find some rare and hard to find gems! I sure would like to have your skills. Looks like from posts & poles on the 1:200 selection over the past few years a clear indication that many collectors are looking forward to are the special liveries of the 747-400 MH Hybiscus , SQ Singapore Tropical, CX- Cathay Asia world city, QF Qantas Wunala & (747-3) Nalangi & TG Thai Royal Barge 747-4. Imagine these in a line up

Qantas to retire 747-438 before it's 100th birthday (founded 16th November 1920)

The last six are 747-438ER's VH-OEE, VH-OEF, VH-OEG, VH-OEH, VH-OEI, VH-OEJ

....wow....nice models Eric and great photo's you make too .......

.....yes, like the others in this thread, I too like the Hogan's ......that Hibiscus is awesome.....I am lucky to have that one that you have (9M-MPD) in addition to its twin sister (9M-MPB) - also made by Hogan in the flight sales type box (it has a different front cover to it but same Hogan number of HG3299)........

The Condor livery is irresistable. Waiting for the polished version...........

Amazing that there have been at least 3 airplanes wearing the D-ABKK reg.

Guys, thanks again for the nice comments!

Joe, so you have 2 MAS 744 Hibiscus, huh? Someone here is crazy about reddish liveries, Just kidding man. I really wish that jumbojet was would made in die-cast metal. How about Qantas Wunala and Nalanji, ufff, some colorful stuff?

I hear you Steve. Yes, you are right, I am one of them. Specially am looking for Thai B744 royal barge you mention and a couple of 747 Modell Editions (Bonn and Hannover) to have the full jumbojet line-up. Not to tell I am also searching for a CX Silver Bullet. Yup, some heavy stuff in my wanted list.

Greetings fellows!

....yes, die-cast metals are nice but I am happy with the 2 Hogan Hibiscus examples I have in my MH fleet stable.... they are a mirror reminder of my 2 Risesoon (high detailed) SQ Tropical B744's (both 9V-SPK and 9V-SPL)......another lovely scheme....

.....the Herpa Premium LH B744 Hannover (expo 2000) was a hard one to find but persistence paid off and I have a mint pure white/green one finally along with the Herpa Modell B744 Berlin, an ultra rare Herpa (sample) LH A346 Star Alliance as well as the Herpa Modell LH Express B733 ......I wouldn't mind the "Bonn" but I am happy with "Berlin" ........re QF's Wunula and Nalanji.....bring 'em on in metal someone please .........
