Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Hello all, again.
As promised and as mentioned before in Mojns thread, here they are, pictures showing in detail the amazing out-of-the-factory INFLIGHT200 Airbus A350 model, a special Farnborough Edition, in low pass configuration! Yes, flaps down, no gear !
Fear not, as I have been told by the good people from INFLIGHT ( they were all there at the ARD stand, great to meet them !!!!!) that another version is coming, flaps down and clean wing with gears.
The model itself was a nice surprise, (I think that as the rest of you, I was also focusing on the coming CV990, I never saw this one coming !)
The mould is beautiful, lots of printed details, the cockpit windows a-la-Zorro well depicted too!
And for the very first time, far from looking toyish, the extended slats and flaps !!! The main feature on this MAX Inflight 200 Edition !
I was told theres more models coming up this year, with this sort of "action" feature, in the new "MAX" series, cant say more, sorry...but you'll see when the time comes, and you wont be disapointed! Mark my words !
But..my favorite part!? the eXtra fine winglets, or sharklets, amazing that they come up with such fine detail in diecast !
Grim looking!? Crude!? Rough!? NO WAY JOSE !
Are you ready then!?...it is with great pleasure that I share with you the newest INFLIGHT200 MAX Series member;
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Now the engines, those huge TRENTS...down to 1:200 !
again, bear in mind that these are extremely close up pictures, so before you guys go saying anything, remember, this is a model, a very good one, not the real engine, ok!?
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
they're that good he!?! no, they are fixed, but the day will come when Inflight will have these moving, engines working, strobe lights, interior lighting, one day, ...one day...
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
The mould is fantastic
Nose looks rather big to my eyes but not much of a problem
It does look a little bare aswell!
Qatar Hybrid would be perfect for me!

I must say that is quite exquisite!! The winglets are pretty well done considering it is very thin and of course diecast! It would be great if IF200 would start making all their models with flaps, but with the possibility to extend/retract them manually.. Soon enough, with today's technology!
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Jan, that would be great, can you imagine?!
We talked about having lights as well, like strobes and beacons...the cost is prohibitive!!!
Callume, you're right, the nose air pitots are missing, have emailed Inflight about this already!
Still love the model anyway!
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
She is a beauty indeed! Stunning model and beautiful pics Rui! Seems Inflight is also following the Gemini trend with magnetic gears, great!

Indeed, Jean Pierre is right....in trying to show all the fine details of the model, this is always the negative side, ...
.but trust me, having the model in a cabinet, she will still look great!!!

I'm allright with you Jean Pierre, that's why I said it is the only bad point, this model is very collectable and I'll be pride to get it. If you have read what I mentioned above, this model is awesome ! But, dispite fans can be updated, there are first compressor rotor behind !
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Holy cow. That looks absolutely incredible. Thanks for posting those pics. I will definitely be ordering one of those, much to the dismay of my Boeing employed family. But that's a pretty plane regardless.
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Wow. This is looking amazing. I have yet to be completely convinced about just how right the cockpit glazing is, some images show them not quite right. Maybe it's just the pic.

Sorry, the cockpit windows have no glaze like the real bird, they are just printed dark grey.
Wish IF would come up with some new feature representing that, just like on their 787s.
Petroleum blue for the A350 and copper shine on the Dreamliner!

Well, im an Airbus flyer, but that doesnt stop me to keep acquiring Dreamliners!
Theyre both beautiful aircraft models!
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Is this a "Farnborough Only" Limited edition or will it be available for general release? Have Inflight created a rare model for those lucky enough to secure one to market on Ebay at an exorbitant inflated price?
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
that makes two ! I've been told its a beautiful one too, detailed, in every aspect, not just a set of wheels to place under the wings/nose...
Its about time someone pays attention to this important feature on an aircraft model, be it in flight mode or not.

Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
I wish IF would start making models with retractable wing leading edge and flaps, that would be the holy grail of a collector's dream. I can see the A300 and B 747 with those spectacular features.
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
And retractable landing gears! Saw that nice feature on some 1/250 dc8's from gemini years ago.

Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
sweet looking model and great close-up pics. the look of the A350 has grown on me unlike the 787, and I'm more of a Boeing guy. maybe its the Zorro mask
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Very nice looking model for sure! I would want the version with gears and ground condition wings. I really hope they do the Qatar/Airbus hybrid version that was at the Farnborough show. Looks fantastic!

If it would have been in the Qatar launch customer livery as the one that came to Farnborough, both my friend and I would have instantly grabbed one each but I was told that version won't be made.
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
This is way beyond impressive!!! Thank you Inflight for heralding a new era in 1/200 scale diecast aircraft collecting. Thank you Rui for bringing us that up close and personal with this magnificent model. Brilliant photography as usual.
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Beautiful photos and model Rui. How I wish it was going to be done in the Airbus/Qatar demo livery. I have the Phoenix 400 scale version ordered, but a larger scale would be nice.

Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Well as Rui says there are legal issues surrounding it which find a little odd considering that models in the standard Qatar livery are being released left and right.
Re: Inflight200MAX Airbus A350 Farnborough Edition...PICS!!!
Beautifully presented! Beautiful airplane! Beautiful model! The new features with the flaps and slats is a breakthru in the kind of models we buy. It will be very interesting to see which airlines will have be the first to paint a unique livery on the A350.
Thanks for sharing with us Rui! This is great news!

Maybe they will release one in the standards Qatar livery then? Surely since they are launch customer.
