Default JC Wings Hobbit B777 nose gear issue

Hi everyone.
I am very excited my first two models arrived yesterday. The Gemini 200 Qantas A380 is fantastic - very pleased.
In regards to my lovely ANZ B77W in the Hobbit livery I do seem to have a small problem with the nose gear. It doesn't seem to want to go fully up into its socket and on closely looking at it I am not sure if it has some sort of moulding anomaly or not. I have an image of what I am seeing, please see the attachment.
When it is inserted into the aircraft it doesn't seem to go fully up into the aircraft and simply falls out again. I obviously don't want to force anything.
Can anyone help?
Regards
Tim

I think the Hobbit was the first of the models with magnetic gears. that circular hole is where the magnet is supposed to be. You should get a replacement piece from your retailer or see if JC Willy can help you with it.

Yup. Missing the magnet. The upper part is looking a bit chewed as well . . .

Do you suggest I contact the dealer who sold it to me or the manufacturer, JC Wings. I am brand new to this and a little disappointed to be honest that this is the case with my first ever purchase.
Cheers
Tim

Yes, normally the procedure is Retailer/Dealer first, then Manufacturer next.
