Nice models!!! I miss watching JAL's jumbo on approach to Mexico City. Since 2009 they are no longer fly to Mexico.
I have done some deals with Lok (Dynasty) too and he is a very reliable member. Fair prices and great shipping service. I wonder why he is not so active here on DA.C.
About resin/plastic, nowadays Hogan is the "best" option, then Herpa and finally Risesoon. Herpa has became very lazy with its new releases, they have dropped in quality and details. Since Herpa and Hogan split their ways, I think Hogan had a slighty raise while Herpa just stucked there. Herpa's newest mold are horrid with all due respect and it is incredible how they have dropped in quality. The A320 family models left so much to desire.
The last year I bought 4 models from the A320 family and ALL of them got cracked tires after few months of being purchased.
- Etihad A320 F1 livery
- Condor A320 Peanuts livery
- Air France A319 present livery
- Lufthansa A320 retro livery
OK, you can contact them and ask for spare parts. But my point is, what is point of buying models if will be worried about the degradation of some components? Am I supposed to ask every 6 months for tire replacements? Of course not.
That's why I stopped buying plastic models and this goes for Hogan too, sadly. I remember back at 2008, when Herpa was the best option because its details compared and nice packaging and less thing you can worry about was quality. But in these days those brands have gone of my sight.

There is a exception to that statement.
Well, surprisingly, the best models you can get in this scale and in this market are not metal diecast models. No sir, I can tell you Herpa Premium and Modell Editions series are from another league. Perhaps the only inconvenience about them are the yellowing issue, but leaving aside that note, they are the best and made of plastic.
So far I have 10 of those models and every time I watch at them I get surprised how detailed they are. Honestly, I have never seen anything like it, not in my short collector life. By the time Modell Editions were made I was only 3 or 4 years old, now that I am nearly 30, I can not believe no one has done an effort to match that level of detail/quality. Not even IF200 or Gemini.
Ok fellas, I will stop writting
. Usually I don't post comments this long but today I wanted to express some points of view.
