Default Fans of the Dornier 328?

The Dornier 328 turbo prop is another aircraft that I'm shocked nobody has attempted in 1/200 diecast. How has this been overlooked?

Agree totally but I am happy to get a BA sun air custom made and wouldn't mind an air France!

I like the Dorniers, they have a sleek shape and design, its a shame they ceased production as Dornier had interesting plans for future development...

And they don't really make profit as they cost a lot to run!

There's a D328 Jet by herpa, I certainly wouldn't mind a BA and a Flybe prop version.

Surely Herpa can do a 328 Prop as I believe the only difference between Jet & Prop was the powerplants.
Bring on Suckling Airways.

I don't know about that. I work for Central Mountain Air and the Dornier 328 is a very profitable aircraft for us. It's very fast too.

With AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) leading the search for MH-370 in the Southern Corridor, love to have one of this in 1/200.

I am pretty sure Herpa has done that model, not exactly a turbo prop, and it was painted in ADAC scheme if I am correct. I am not a big fan of regional jets but I would love to see that model with some private liveries.

Here one in BA scheme for sale at eBay.

Herpa has done the jet version but not the turbo-prop. Already been discussed just above.

A delightful aircraft to fly on. Air UK leased one in full colours in the early 1990's and I flew from Stansted to Zurich and return on it. Flight time wasn't much different from a BAe 146.

I have the ADAC jet and I would love to have the prop version too.

D-COSA TEAM Lufthansa would be a nice one.

If you're speaking of the 328Jet too....!, I have the BA, DL, Yellow Ambulance. GREAT little models...and very tiny, even in 1:200. Flew on the Delta. It was a solid as a rock. Incredible finishes. Much like a fine car.

It should not be too difficult for Herpa to release the prop version, given that they have the jet already. Enough schemes and enough fans!

It's a lot of money for a completely new wing/engine mould. But have no idea if Herpa will do one. You might snap up a jet in the meantime.

Don't want the jet because none of the carriers I want use the jet.

I've never been a great fan of the original aircraft Do 328, but as I have the BA Jet version, I'm certainly interested for the turbo-prop model version. As someone says above it seems to be easy for Herpa do it.

If they'd do a Calm Air D328 jet, I'd pick that up. I'd really like to see a Central Mountain Air D328 turbo prop. I believe they're the only carrier in Canada flying them.
