Default Thank You Herpa...

On Saturday I recieved not one, but 2 spare nose cones for my damaged Herpa Premium... Excellent customer service from Herpa

Being my one and only Herpa Premium, I love the level of detail, and altho now pricey to acquire, definatly worth the money...

Here are pics now the model is repaired....

Herpa rule for spares....
Not the first time I have heard good news like this.
Now why can't Herpa put all this spares together and do another run of some more premiums.

Because they have no spare stabilizers
I shot them an email asking for one, my Frodo has the left one`s tip bent, sadly, they are out of them..
Anyway, congrats Delta-711, you now have a perfect model...

Cheers,

Tomas

The tooling costs for the Herpa Premium were very high: over 1 million D-Mark!

I also have had superb customer service from Herpa. My Premium Thai A300 had very slight yellowing to the tail. I asked them if they had any advice on how to fix or reverse this issue. The advice I received was to send them my address, and they would send me a free replacement model. I nearly fell out of my chair. I gave the original to a local collector from Thailand. He didn't care about the yellowing.

Wow, I almost can't believe they sent you a brand new model. How long ago was this?

Oh, sweet!!! I think you are breathing again in calm.

Now I'm going to ask you for some details via MP as I need some spare parts for a B747 too. It's good to see to have a renewed model and that should makes you very happy.

Regards.

The very subtle difference in the shade of white between your model and the new nose cap adds to the realism of the model. On the real aircraft, the nose cap is replaced or painted often due to bird strikes and wind damage. It's made of fiberglass since the radar is behind it.

Your model looks great now!
Herpa's costumer service is fantastic. I received a 1/200 Lufthansa B747-800 that was missing a main gear door. They just didn't send me a gear door for replacement but a brand new model.

Fantastic customer service, and I'm very pleased the model is back to 100%. It would have been a shame to have returned it to the seller, and perhaps never found another one for sale. That model is terrific!
