They said they are available for order
They will get it from a supplier that has them and will ship within 2 weeks!
I was interested and it was on special order and they said if I ordered they would give me a date of delivery!

I once place an order for the DHL 767 in scale 1/400.
They had to order it from their supplier.
After 5 months of waiting, I cancelled my order and bought it in another shop.
Price was higher, but now I have the model

Holly cow!! Five months?
I am personally avoiding any seller who reply my email quickly, and then keep silence for months awaiting the model to arrive.
I have very little patience when it comes to ordering the model, thus i don't want my money sits 5 motnhs in someone else's pocket....

dont get me wrong callume but i will believe it only when someone can clearly confirm he recieved a "special order"-model. had the same thing with a retailer in germany. i sent the money and he couldnt organise the model. he didnt want to give me the money back but a voucher... not a really funny episode

I too would be careful when ordering 'special order' items.... i have had experiences similar to Pieter where ive ordered a model and months have gone by before being told they cant find the model as its sold out...

I dont buy any models from retailers unless they can guarentee delivery in a reasonable time....

Would be nice to have more of these rare models available, but if it sounds too good to be true... then it most likely is
