Just asking.

depends if they are copyright. if they are they will be removed by admin. some people don't other people using theirs, but some do!! always best to ask permission first
myself, and a few other members have started adding their username to pics. to stop others copying. especially evilbayers!! the idea of posting collection pics is that they are pics of your OWN models with your OWN camera. otherwise you could endlessly post pics of other peoples models claiming they are your own.

Yes it is.

It's no problem when you are granted permission from that individual/company first and when you use their material, name the company/person you use the pictures from.

It's their property and some of them don't want their material to be used without asking first.

OK Fine. I will take pictures one of these days. It's just that collection has grown to 150 odd now.

Thanks for advice though.

Talking Re: Is it OK to post my collection pictures

Take the pics in groups of around 10-15 at a time and you should only have to take less than 15 photos

If you want to avoid the eBay buttholes, you'd be better off using a watermark. A simple crop and save would easily eliminate your name on the picture.

Yea it wouldn't make sense to show off YOUR collection with other people's pictures. We've seen the other people's pictures, we want to see yours

Don't know about the legal situation in the States but in Germany for example it does not matter if you put any copyright notice on the pic or anywhere. Your works are legally protected there, except in very special circumstances...

if we talking about photos anyway: i know i am pretty new on this forum and i appreciate that someone offers a plattform like this for free but there is something i really have to criticize.

Why is it not possible to upload pictures directly to the forum? i use other forums too and usually this is no problem...there are also alot upgrades for this php forum available plus is there the chance to add the function for the possibility for users to upload own pics directly to the forum without using a external picturehost. that wouldnt cost a fortune but would bring much more pics to the forum iam sure...

just saying

This forum has been up for past 13 years and customized. So they can't do straight upgrade.

Newer one will cost upwards of 30K in implementation, unless free lancing people help out on the side and slowly migrate everything over a period of 6-8 months.
