Default American 737s...

The new Gemini200 American 737-800 landed with me to day and whilst not still a huge fan of the colours, it does make a nice little model...

So i took a few pics with her sisters to showcase AA thru the years.....

Nice pictures. The new livery is better in real life than it appears in pictures. Flown on repainted planes a bunch of times now and it is growing on me..

Nice ! Still don't really understand why they went for narrowbody Airbuses aswell, why not just 737-900's /Max ? Is it a range/capacity or comfort thing ? New livery should have been more pearlescent or sparkly, but otherwise it has grown on me also

The models are all beautiful and well displayed and photographed.

Love all the previous logos representing the traditional symbol of American.

Where is it on the new livery? Oh yes, it is represented by a paper tab.

Maybe someone will come to their senses and bring back a modernized logo representing AA. After all Delta kept their logo over the years and look how well they are doing.

The titles, the flashy tail and the boring gray I could deal with but bring back a logo that some person not familiar with the airline industry can see it is American.

The new livery looks like gray, but it's a light silver mica when you see it in real life, doesn't come out in photographs for some reason. It reminds me of the glitter paint used on bicycles in the 1970s when I was a kid to make them look metallic. GJ got it right on the models.

Anyway, this is a cool contrast, reminds of a line-up of 738s at DFW shortly after the new look was revealed, and someone photographed it, I think it was on airliners.net.

the new silver mica paint is really tricky..you have to see it in person, upclose..taking pics far or near wont justify it, it will always look flat on photos and also depending on the light source on an overcast days it will mimic a battleship livery and on a sunny day it has a bit of that bare metal glitter on it...really tough to judge this livery....btw nice AA line up

Me too. You know GJ will release it in 1/200 by the holidays. Will be a best-seller for them. The 77W would be awesome.
