Default Gemini 200 Thai A330 and KLM E-190

Hey y'all,

Arcunia seems to have actual product photos of the new Geminis online.

gemini200 Thai Airways Airbus a330-300 "HS-TEU" G2THA365
gemini200 (1:200) KLM Cityhopper ERJ-190 "PH-EZP" G2KLM340

I like the E-Jet, although I am not 100% sure how accurate it is. The Thai A330 leaves me puzzled. The purple is less glossy than in the announcement on facebook (which was super pretty but not too exact it seems). But compared to the original it still seems off - too dark if you ask me. What are your thoughts?

Cheers,
Ben

All comes down to what your lighting conditions are. The Gemini sample pics are taken outside in the Vegas sun, the photos on Arcunia's website look like they were taken indoors.

That is correct James.
All pictures are taken indoors.
We lack normal sunny days like they have everywhere around the world...

Thanks for weighing in. So what's you verdict on the paint job? Is it more metallic shiny like on the first Gemini photos, more non-shiny like on the real aircraft?

The 190 is a smart looking model. I really hope we see flybe and BA cityflyer!

You're welcome.
Despite the lack of normal lighning siuations, maybe you can see the difference on both pictures.

First the origina Gemini picture and second, a picture from us where i think the color is most correct visible.

Hope these help

Thanks for the additional insight. I think I'll wait for some more pics before I decide.
