Default SST collection

I was very pleased to recently take delivery of both an AF and BA Concorde. Here is the 1:200 SST family. The BA and AF models are Hogans, and the Pan Am Concorde is a custom by Alstang. What I find most interesting is the huge size difference between the Concordes and their Boeing competitor. If the 2707 ever became reality, it would have been an awe inspiring sight!

Default Re: SST collection

NICE!! I think there was an Eastern SST model once 2.

Talking of which, I see no reason for toy companies to come out with models of the proposed Boeing 2707 with the colors of the airlines that committed themselves, as you can see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_...ne_commitments

Nice group!

Now, it looks like the only 'must have' will be the upcoming TU-144 from Herpa, as that will complete the SST's that made it onto the world stage. Any additional livery variations would fall into the 'nice to have' category.

I'm keeping an eye on that Herpa TU-144 for my Concorde collection, and have a line on the Revell 1:200 Boeing 2707 kit which, by using 3rd party decals, can be finished in the static prototype colours. For me, that would be 'complete'.
