Default American & Alaska Airlines fleets 1/200 metal

These are pics of 2 of my largest fleets (Delta & KLM being the other 2)

- American Airlines (90's ~ 2013? livery)
- Alaska Airlines (current livery)
(inlcuding a custom made alaskaair.com inverted livery B738)

........wow......nice- I LOVE the Alaska fleet.......I was very close to collecting the Alaska models in that livery ....in another life maybe ......good selection of the AA's too.....love the B752wL and B763wL especially .......you just need a couple of 747s sprinkled in there i reckon .......

Excellent fleet photos. I was just about to say: "Alaskaair.com in 200 scale?" I went back and read again.

After seeing that beautiful AA line-up, one gets reminded it's all going to be history in the near future. What a waste of a perfect scheme~

Very cool.
The only problem with 1/200 is you can't collect all that a prototype carrier had and flew, unlike with 1/400. A dilemma as to "fleetbuild" or not...

I to have several AA and Alaska models in my collection. Mostly 400 scale, some 200 scale, and even a few in 100 scale. I only wish the Skymarks Supreme line had done the Alaskaair.com in 100 scale. I have the Dragon B737-400 series, the Gemini B737-800 series, and the Skymarks 1/130 scale. I always really liked the reverse livery.

Thx for the compliments guys
Well I will be getting the 747-100 when its released...I skipped on the 747 SP, 737-200 and AE Embraer cause of the notable flaws or cause I just dont like how they look....I may still get the AE Convair though....we'll see.

Yes....but your AA fleet will be INCOMPLETE!....wont't that bug you that you have an "almost" complete fleet?

Just kidding....but have to say the 747SP with it's little printing problem is gorgeous from two feet away.

naaaah....doesnt bother me at all...the models do have to meet my requirements, otherwise it would bother me too much....the SP is ugly in itself but with the AA printed so high on the tail, I really wouldnt wanna spend money on it. Same as in my Delta fleet...the A319 windows have been printed way too high...bothers me too much, so I dont buy it....simple really :P

I completely agree with you, no point getting a sub-par model just to 'complete the fleet'
