Default GJ E-Jets a LOT of opportunities

Well, since the E-Jets made by GJ look surprisingly good

Does anyone has any insight on when will they offer those planes in LOT's livery? (GJ please read it as a request)

I know, the title is slightly misleading

So E-Jet in LOT Polish Airlines livery is about to be released... (un)fortunately not by GJ.

Would like to see a proper 175 mould, and a new wing mould with the newer style winglets

I don't think you will ever see this..with it being so minor between the 170 vs 175. No need to make a new mould for something that is very very small changes, in 1/200 scale that would be hardly noticeable.

If you are referring to just the winglets, then probably. Noticeable for sure, even at 1:200 scale (new ones are huge), but not enough to motivate a manufacturer to make a new mould.

However, putting them on an overall new E175 mould would work. There is a quite noticeable difference in length between the two, and I find it insulting that Gemini took the cheap way out and thought no one would care/notice.

I really agree with you. Either they are scale models or they are not. I want a model that is as accurate as possible, otherwise I would be buying my models from the toy section on eBay.

The unfortunate thing is many collectors don't really care about accuracy, so the 'knock offs' keep selling. This doesn't really provide manufacturers a good motivation to try to improve their molds.

0.88cm if in 1/200, GJ made the 175 before?

They made an E170 and called some of the releases E175s. I usually don't notice the E175 looking longer, but I definitely notice how short the E170 looks.

Lots of people display their fleets with the similar planes side by side, and I think .88cm will be noticeable for sure. Would fleet builders be OK with basically two of the same model instead of two properly sized and distinct types? Look how much we complain about 1mm here and there with engine and nose profiles.

Good point ZuluLima.

Regarding the JCWings E170 release, what do you guys think about this particular mould? Is it good? Does it have lots of flaws or is it acceptable for someone who simply wants a deciast with that livery?

Yes, 0.88 is noticeable, but I can't find any E175 on GJ site. I think they made E170 and E190 only.

Yes you are right, it is not listed as an E175, but if you look up the reg number of the
American one; N401YX, you'll see that this is an E175
