Default Buffalo Electra 1/200

The above was something i started and it just went on and one till this took shape. I took the hangar from really pictures on the net it may be a tad smaller then the real thing in scale but serves the purpose. Snow is icing sugar mixed with PVA glue. The cargo is scraps of card panted and the little people are actually 1/200 scale i got from Amazon all be it there in summer clothing.

The above is a close up of the Electra again a private project of mine just to see how close i can get to a passable display item. It was a Northwest model with paint damage from hobby master. I have sent these pics to Buffalo as well so they can see what i have made. Peter Magill at Buffalo said they are working on an Electra and C-46 but no dates given for release.

I will have this on show at the Gatwick LGW fair in April with the PAA A380 plus a few other models i have done as part of my model making display.

I think i be spending more time on model making in the future as i enjoy it. So watch this space what shall i do. Maybe a 1/200 terminal and with air bridges just a small section for one aircraft.

Beautiful diorama! In addition to more handmade outsized cargo, you may want to purchase Herpa's military ground support equipment which includes a tractor, starter cart, power set w/floodlights, and hydraulic test cart to be repainted for civilian use.
