Not really a fan of Airbus aircraft in general, although I do like the KL A330 I just bought, but this A380 is just stunning! Can't wait until they release an AF one in diecast... Saw that the EK is pretty much sold out everywhere, so I'm sure they will be releasing much more of them in the near future. Cheers
I'll take the Emirates A380 for now, since I flew on it with the family. G200 has made 3 Qantas models and 2 Air France models to date; I have a feeling that the Qantas A380 may be rolled out before the Air France A380 from Gemini 200.
Korean and Singapore should be delivered by JC Wings. It may be a long shot, but Inflight 200 could do both Thai and Lufthansa, based on 6 Thai models and 9 LH they have already done for each. Cheers! T7
That G200 box looks very similiar to their 1/400 EK A380 box.
Update: Aviation World in Toronto; had received 24 G200 EK A380 models last friday. As of monday morning (today) = ALL 24 models have been SOLD!!! WOW! Bravo Gemini 200 for producing such a fine detailed 1/200 diecast Emirates A380! The manager told me that within 20 hours (business hours - Fri-Sun) all their EK A380s were gone/sold! Cheers! T7

This should not be surprising, due to the EXCEPTIONAL A380 that Gemini 200 has produced for the public. CONGRATS to all the collectors that purchased this fine model! Cheers! Mine arrived this week, just a few days after my flight in one & it's a fantastic model in every way. I hope Gemini releases my other favourites over the other manu's, I just love their work!!

Update: Just spoke to a staff member at Threshold Aviaion (Toronto) this morning; they had received in total 18 Emirates A380 models; they are now down to the display model (which may now be gone by 2day, another staff member wishes to purchase it). Damn this model is HOT! Both Thresold and AV World (received a total of 42 1/200 G200 EK A380 models last week = all GONE!!) That is simply = AMAZING!! Cheers! T7

This will be a huge hitter for GJ this year, that's for sure. I have no doubt in my mind that Gemini will release another one or even two EK A380(s) this year (since it's an Emirates release, and a very hot seller). I will probably grab the re-release, as the wallet and model shelf would not be very welcoming right now .
Last week I saw a photo from Threshold Aviation, they had just received the shipment of A380s from the distributor and all 15 of them were stacked up, nearly reaching the ceiling!

Nothing short of fantastic, I chose to fly this short sector (Auckland to Melbourne) in Business Class as a special treat and a great way to start a short holiday to attend the Avalon airshow
Our hospitality started 3 hours before our flight in the very comfortable Emirates lounge, everything there one could wish for!
I found the ICE inflight ents system to be easy to use, a nice big screen with plenty of new release movies (I watched Lincoln) & the external cameras showed an interesting perspective of the jet.
A lovely meal of prawns, washed down by several glasses of Moet & followed by a lovely cheese platter.
The bar is a great feature, not too crowded at all, cheers lads
As they say = A picture is worth a thousand words! Excellent response to my inquiry above!! Flying in the EK A380 Business Class = you deserve to treat/spoil yourself once in awhile. So you flew on the EK A380 to attend an air show; that's one fine short vacation IMO!! Bloody jealous! Cheers! T7
Let me add to this post, lauding the craftsmanship of this great looking model. The weight, paint, mould, stand, and, yes, the box, ensure I will subscribe to every GJ 200 Emirates release. Fantastic job, GJ!
