OK, before anyone get excited, IF should make the tail logo bigger, which comes with the Bold title as well for the 744. Seems like they just put the latest SQ release tail on this model and change the title!!

Pretty, but I'm still hoping we'll see a Tropical in die cast from someone in the near future.

Exactly my thoughts. I really hope JC Wings or another whitelabel brand will do this release, as Singapore Airlines will never grant a license...

You realize they will charge 200.00 for each one if they did make it.?!?!

^Considering the amount of paint, artwork, etc going into the Tropical...sure. $200 would be low as the SAA Ndizani retailed around $220.

And I for one would be willing to part with $200 to have a die cast Tropical, given it was done properly.

........and with the correct engines please.

Both this SQ 744 SPQ & that earlier 1000th SMU are the most wanted models on my list. By sheer coincidence, I had the opportunity to take both this planes on four separate occasions each......but having wrong engines on a 1:200 scale model & at those prices....I still can't bear to part with my cash. If it was in 1:400 scale....I am more flexible.

If you can somehow get a hold of Inflight200 itself or the guys at the factory who has the mould, you could pay them to do a custom of the Tropical. Just the matter of exactly how much $$$

as mentionned by cpa747 the bird on the tail is wrong...
missing antennas and wrong engines...
it is pretty dissapointing for me...

but I am still considering 9V-SMJ (with the old shame)
