Hi Moin:

Yes, I know that old song already. I was wondering if Hogan can make LH models by itself. Are they able to work models of its own? Yes-No? Who is the owner of Lufthansa license, Limox or Hogan?

I will appreciate your answer.

LH has licensed Limox to produce and sell LH models, hence it is Limox who commission all LH models.

I found a Hogan/Limox Airbus A300 Beluga on ebay. It might have been a misprint but it didn't have the same stand as the Skymarks version.Hogan Wings Limox Airbus House Color A300 600ST Beluga 5 1 200 Flugzeugmodell | eBay

That model is made by Lupa. Limox not only contracts Hogan for making models, but also Lupa and Risesoon. So this one, just like the Qatar A320 (1:200 not 1:150) is made by Lupa.

What happened to AeroMexico B737-8max and USAF C-17 "Dover"? Are they delayed or cancelled?

Best regards.
USAF C-17 "Dover" is now everywhere. Wingsworld.cn must have the pictures.
AeroMexico B737-8max is available in the US now.

Thanks for the replies Big Mouse. I placed my order for the C-17 "Dover" and the SAA A343.

Here is the sample picture for those who are curious about that B738 MAX.

About the AMX B738MAX, well is like the other Hogan's AeroMexico models, it doesn't come with registration.

That is one gorgeous and sharp looking 737MAX. Hope to get it soon alongwith perhaps another one from the region.

Still time for the actual 737 MAXs to roll out, hence the AeroMexico wud remain a fantasy until then, coz the actual aircraft may undergo a livery tweak!! On a side note, wud be good to see a GOL B737MAX as well, coming from the same region.

Default Hogan C-17 Globemaster III "Dover"

Here some pictures of the final product of the new Hogan C-17 "Dover", these are not stock photos like I shared before.

Pictures belong to yellowcat98, btw he is a reliable ebay member. You can also get this item from Yim Stephen (Lacorun). So, for those who don't want to wait the US retailers until they have stock, you can order from any of sellers mentioned here. Both are very kind and pack items very consciously.

Its plastic, but VERY good plastic. Its detail level rivals the Gemini models AND it has raised domes instead of just graphic domes. It is however missing the opening cargo ramp.

HIGHLY recommended if the opening ramp is not a big deal to you. You won't be disappointed.

I hope so too!! Would be a great livery. Also please the Original KLM B742, would be great from Hogan!! (or IF, even better) I think it's strange that the manufacturers only bring the KLM B744 and never a B742 or B743...

If this is still a proposal, then they will sell at least one to me.

I am sure that would be enough for them to take a go-ahead decision.

Interesting list! And pictures look good. Since when did hogan also get into diescast?
I consider the Iberia md87 in diecast a great release. My wish would be for an Iberia DC9-32, in same scheme as DC8, which has not been released yet in diecast.

I may be interested in getting the GF 777. But will HG get the scale of the metalflake in the gold correct? Or will it be too large as has been the case with the rest of their attempts?

Am also very interested in the KLM B787-9, but concerned KLM may change their livery by the time they take delivery of those aircraft. (Or the livery will be slightly different than what is on the model.)

Iberia DC-8 is a great new !! I hope it will be released soon ! Iberia MD-87 and Britannia 767-300 are very interesting for me too.
For KLM A350 and 787-900 I think it is better to wait models with registration.

If you have either of the Herpa GF models i.e. A330/A340, the same paint colors should be used on the 777.

Just found these new releases for Hogan. Looks like 4 new UPS releases.
Daron Toys -- Shop

An interesting release from Hogan. It sometimes makes you wonder where they come up with these "ideas".

Hi Moin,

Yes, they are very expensive. I only use the site for any new releases that may manufactured in the future. Unfortunately, the Hogan website is a bit behind the times when updating upcoming models. Personally, I buy from a few Asian sellers who have very good prices and postage is very reasonable.

I think Daron is positioned as supplier to local dealers. Although you can buy direct from them they are primarily a distributor and not a retailer. As such, their 'retail' prices are not meant to be competitive.

They are, however, an excellent source for what is available from retailers, and what is coming down the pipeline.

Jetway and Air Paradigm still have much better prices.

And as far as new releases are concerned, something is coming that will have everyone falling off their chairs. Once it is revealed, I strongly advise everyone to pre-order it as this one will sell out fast. No hints from me, you'll figure it out that this has to be it when its announced.
