just a gheads up guys. there is a cathay l1011 vr-hhk with u.k flag and super tristar titles on ebay at $259.99 start or $286 b.i.n. seller has dropped price from $999 down to $499, and now down to $259.99!!! too much for me as postage is $99 to u.k!!

I guess the impending release of the AV200 CX Tristar has made a few sellers of the original Inflight 200 version realise that they are not worth the silly money that some of them were commanding. We just now have to hope that AV200 eventually release the 747-400 in the old green c/s too. That is one I really want.

me too!! BIG comedown from $999 original price!! also did you see this inflight DELTA BELLE sell for JUST $230!!! again probably due to recent delta releases and possibly because seller only had 8 feedback so far. also saw a IF PAN AM 707 sell for just $225!!

.....darn, beaten by the bell .... I wouldve paid that plus the postage (maybe) .... I bought a couple of 1:200 Landors (B744 and DC-10) off this guy 2 months ago but silly me requested surface shipping .... needless to say Im still waiting .....

wow joe. well hope you get your models ok. surface is usually 2-3 months. that landor 744 must have cost a bomb!!

Gday rob, yeah it did cost a bit but he heavily reduced the DC-10 and I think he threw in a B737 or B757 Landor so it ended up fair but I had to go surface as total by air was off-the-charts. I dont mind the wait .... its like waiting for Xmas ... the anticipation ... mind you its like this for me every few weeks as I build my fleet.

I got the Landor 1:200 (Hogan) Concorde too recently ... should be jetting in from the US any day now ... looks real nice ....

re the CX L1011, there are a couple of collectors still out there that I know wanting to sell theirs to good homes (one has my name pencilled on it for an ok price) .... I suppose one could source the little "Super Tri Star" and Union Jack flag decals to bring the new AV200 versions into line a bit ..... maybe handpaint the red stripes on the antennae.....!
