Diecast DC-8-61

1:200 needs a DC-8-61 in diecast. So many great historical liveries- DAL, UAL, EAL, ACA, NAL, TIA, ONA, JAL, just to name some.

My first scheduled airline flight was aboard a DAL DC-8-61 from DTW to ATL back in the early 70's. A DAL -61 would make a great addition to my collection.

I actually flew on National N45191 "Christine" LAX-MSY-TPA in summer 1973.

Nostalgic, and a little sad.

Notice the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in the background.

Let's try again, and see if we can get the pictures a little bigger.

They really are worth the effort.

I think that would fit right in with my Delta collection

Re: Diecast DC-8-61

I would definitely like to have a DL -61.
I guess it would be too muchto ask for a 50 which has the same wing/pilon/engine arrangement, and even more remote the great
looking -30 series with those great looking ejector rings......

I have this DELTA DC-8-51 made by HERPA, I personally like it, but for a lot of collector's its not there cup of tea, plus at present its the only DELTA DC-8, As far as I know, thats been made in the 1:200 scale.

I really want a DC-8 70 series (United & Delta) in 1/200.
