Default GJ hints

It was the week before Christmas and all through the place,
everybody was scurrying at a very hectic pace,
The models are coming, that much we do know,
but the question is, will we ever get snow?

The collectors were looking for something that's nice,
hopefully these will be much better than that bowl full of rice.

Seven two hundreds are slated to appear,
and these will definitely cover both far and quite near,

A duo of Boeing dash 734s,
will be appearing for the Aussies and South Shore,

Its big brother triple will likely arrive,
and this one will surely not be so jive.

Two classic jetliners from an era gone by
will bring back the memories of one destined to "Fly".

A Military wide-body will likely be seen,
for this will be one snow covered C17.

The 400 folks will also be happy,
for there are a couple of Airbuses that really look snappy.

A retro Boeing does also come forth
but this will never come to the North.

Also appearing are an ATR and DC-8
but we all know, those will look great.

Finally a new jet for a base not yet seen,
She sure does look purdy, her colors agleem.

Go forth all collectors, tis season is true
for we shall see you all in 2 0 1 2.

I would like to wish each and everyone a Happy and Safe Holiday
Season!

Hmmm... (7) releases in :200-scale

737-400 An Australian airliner
737-400 "South Shore"?

777 in one of the above airlines--whatever they are

Two classic jetliners from an era gone by...destined to "Fly"...
CV-880/990? 720? DC-8-11? Dunno, but hoping they're domestic carriers!

Or 'Fly Eastern'. It was written right on the fuselage!

A Boeing 720 would be awesome and much appreciated as it is one of my favorite airframes ever. Crossing fingers, although I'm not really convinced because of the lack of rumors and hints about a 720 in the past.

And a Qantas 737-400? What sense would that make? Phoenix already released one many moons ago...
I rather think, the hint refers to another subject.

what about Australian Airlines for the Aussies 734? As for the C17, I think that its either going to be Elmendorf or McChord.

Maybe it's that long delayed Delta widget 727?

Following the Delta and Western merger, a most successful marketing campaign was launched with slogans “We Love to Fly.” and “We Love to Fly and it Shows.” (Sep 1987)

I'm hoping it'll be Air Canada, but at the same time, the thought of it being equipped with the wrong engines is enough to give me restless nights.

Snow covered C-17 - RCAF?

States 7 200s, yet only 6 "hints"...

New mould "classic", or more DC-9s/727s?

Even though I dont collect the C17's, an Elmendorf C17 would be sweet as my brother in-law flies them based out of there. He would probably love to have that one!

I am becoming more sure by the hour we are looking at a 720 release. Both Eastern and Braniff original delivery schemes incorporated "FLY" into the livery. So first up, it appears we are getting original straight jet JT3Cs and hopefully later Gemini will move onto the fan-powered versions, and there are many possibilities considering how many secondary 720 operators there were, especially European charter airlines.

This is very exciting indeed...

Crazy 737-400 "South Shore" guesses:

Vision Airlines (just released in 1:400, flies out of Ft. Walton Beach, FL on the south shore of the US)
Alaska Airlines standard colors (lots of -400 service on the south shore of the state of Alaska)
