Virgin A330 gemini

Hi all,

Not had much success with these wanted posts.

Looking for Virgin Atlantic Gemini A330 please, ideally within Europe and the UK due to shipping costs.

Best wishes

J

I’ve been looking for this for about a year now and have had no luck finding one! I am desperate for it, so if anyone has a mint one, please contact me

Brgds,

James

Brgds,

Don't mind me, anyone else looking for one also!!!

Well seeing as your post is titled ‘Wanted.....’ and the aircraft I am also looking for, I don’t see what the eye roll is about. It’s a public forum and merely because you create a topic doesn’t imply that anyone else is restricted from posting.

Re: Virgin A330 gemini

A queue for a bus or to a check out is a public forum/event but does that give you the right to jump in front of someone queueing without asking first?

Maybe your message should have been, Hi sorry but i am also looking for this model, i hope you don't mind me also jumping on board. Please message me if the above user has not found the model.

JetsetJ85 12-18-2019 07:03 AM

No one is queue jumping, I merely state that I am also looking for the same model. If three people where looking for the same model, starting three individual, identical topics is silly. As I say, I’m looking for the same model as I say, if anyone has a mint one going that they are unable to sell, send me a dm.

Thanks,

James

To any forum member who would like to send me a message regarding this model please feel free, i would greatly appreciate any help you could give me. There is a nice home and a great parking space waiting for this model. Have recently flown on her so would mean a lot to find her.

JetsetJ85 12-18-2019 07:19 AM

If, after, the gentleman who the started the topic has been given first dibs, there is a mint model available. It has great sentimental meaning as this is the current aircraft I fly.

Many thanks and good luck to the topic starter in finding one👍🏽

Thank you, i am more than happy for someone or many people to jump on board, just be nice and respect the person who started it.

Brgds,

James

Actually i am booked on the Scarlet Lady for December next year, First off is Heathrow to NYC, NYC to Miami for boarding Scarlet Lady then Miami back to Heathrow. So very likely will be back on the A333 and possible A350 which will be a first. Love the Virgin Atlantic experience, Especially love the new fragrance, #smellslikeship lol.

Happy Christmas you you mate. Let us know how you get on with the model.

If I may chime in, as a courtesy a second person or more should not interfere with a topic starters post looking for the same model. There are no set rules on this its just an accepted practice.

Though it is a valid point why start a second or third thread on the same subject looking for the same model, the priority should go to the topic starter.

Cheers CV, It's all sorted. fingers crossed we are both lucky enough to get our hands on this gem. I have no hard feelings towards James, he as you say has a valid point about using an existing thread. No point making more threads for the same thing.

Brgds,

If you find one stateside and want to send it to me, I can meet you at MCO as the A330 has returned subbing for one of the 744's. I'm only a few minutes away from MCO and can meet to deliver...

LOL...should be safe unless he was like that one Captain for Virgin that a few years back got arrested for being drunk before boarding his craft at IAD!

Not about kindness...LOL...then I want one also and I want it before you 2...LOL

I thought there was much discussion about this model having the wrong colors...don't know if this was just a nitpicker thing or what?

Not sure about the colour thing, she has the same colour as the A343, but those two are different to the later releases, The real Virgin fleet is very much like that, few of their 747’s have the same colour, some reds are more gloss than candy, some are silver, white or have the pearl finish. Maybe the same applies rule applies to the rest of the Virgin fleet.

Oh and just typical, I bet you would get it before me, CV is already giving James a helping hand, come to think of it so was I.

I have this model. Never really considered selling it. I have a collector friend, who also has it. I will ask him.

Thanks for the heads up, but as you say mate it's way over priced. I only just missed one that sold in the UK for around £100. was badly advertised hence why i missed it.
Surprised no one here is letting one go.
