This is the model in question:

Russ, this is a popular and long sold-out model. Maybe consider using your influence to push for a re-release? Not only do you want one for yourself, but it would surely be a hot seller just like the first one.

That's it, agreed on the re-release.. I had it when it first came out and traded it for something else..

Who's Shanny? Wait, forget it. I don't care.

But please enlighten me on what a "Tony DC-10" is. Did crown vic's request trigger something in you? Surely you know that I am interested in this thread, so using his thread as a platform for your public humiliation of me is a sure bet that I would read it.

Anyway, I hope that CV gets his sought after and EXCEPTIONAL Gemini model. He knows my adoration of that particular mould, and my disdain of his company's refusal to release more of 'em.

jcahea, please don't spread the misguided tripe of others in future threads. Thanks.

Hmm.....

CV, I really hope you can track one down. It is a superior model in every aspect. It's a crown jewel in my collection. Or should I say, a crown vic?

C'mon Russ, you mean to tell me between the 3 warehouses and Bob K. there is not one tucked away in a corner!

Just go visit your brother in Vegas and open up the showroom case and just borrow that one for awhile!

I bet Mike Chew has a case of them in one of his hoard locations around the Bay area. Whenever he gets a shipment in he goes through them all and usually keeps at least 6 for himself! Check with him and see if you can squeeze one outta him! Good luck!

Shandaken is shanny DC-10 Tony...cool off and relax...nothing was said about you, but wondering why you seem to have a "hair trigger on your sensitivity gun" whenever you perceive someone slighted you?

DC-10 Tony you didn't even realize Shandanken was possibly making fun of you above about you asking about a Fedex 757 livery in another thread...that is what I was referring to!

Go to the store and get a brighter bulb!

SKOSH, I only hope that I am added to his ignore list! I guess his rebirthing experience didn't go well!

I don't have patience for trolls anymore. I sense that you are a good person with a sense of humor, so I just let it go. There are quite a few members who I have blocked so they don't bother my experience here anymore, and it works wonders. My blood pressure stays low, and I can have fun having real conversations with members here. For a while, I was turning into the person that I did not want to be. To the point of almost getting banned. And for what? To embolden the trolls here?

I have better things to do, as most other great members here do too. My sensitivity has nothing to do with words thrown at me (mostly), so please understand that and let this be the last time we talk about it.

Cheers.

Northwest Orient has become one of my favorite liveries of all time. I love that the tail is simply all red--no logo.

One of the top new photos on Airliners.net today is a NW Orient 727, with a 757 cameo in the background:

Extremely sexy. And no polish to this seven-two's fuselage. She's dull and weathered.

Russ, please do push for a re-release of the 757 model.

SKOSH, NWO is one of the best all time liveries! Back between 72 and 74 I got to fly on their 747-100s. Those were the days!

JetFly1968, welcome back and yes...hang on to your 752 beauty! Mine isn't going anywhere either!
