gohawks12 on Ebay is American757 on DA.C. I received a AV200 from him before Christmas and he was great to deal with. Plane was carefully packaged and sent with tracking. Must have something going on still!

How did I get dragged into this? I simply posted the model link,as the KLM Premium is a sought after model. I don't know the seller,nor do I know who he is (ID) on any of the forums. Makes me leary of pointing out auctions again. Thank you for your post Leslie.

I hear ya. When I first opened this thread, I thought you were trying to give DAC members the heads up on this very unique model from Herpa. Which is a very cool move on your part. I have this model in my 1/200 collection, so I was a bit curious on my end.

I don't think any other DAC member on this forum will care what was posted in #12 of this thread, as it relates to you. I think it was a bad move by boeing747-400 to mention your userid pertaining to his unfortunate EBay transaction with gohawks12.

I too struck a deal with DAC member American 757 last fall and he disappeared to which several emails and p.m's went unanswered, I wrote him off....

He did respond one time saying he was moving to the West Coast and he was behind..That was it..

Use caution is correct...

From my statement, I specifically stated that I was not sure if ebay user gohawks12 is the same person as the one who started this thread. As you can see, people can be easily confused since CQH98 asked the question of what's the lowest price you can accept (I bet this is directed to Kitty Hawk 1903 thinking he is the same seller as gohawks12 as well)

I simply added my situation here as a warning to other members

boeing747-400. You are new to the forum (24) posts. Maybe you don't truly appreciate the potential damage that can be done by using someones user ID in an incorrect manner? You apologized, I accepted. But my user ID is still up in big red letters and numbers for all to read. Take me for example,I will no longer post links to models for all to read. I will PM or email a member if I see a model I know they want. I am not real happy about that.

I have an actual list of models other members are looking for. Take you for example Russ,each morning I check to see if a Gemini 200,Copa B737 has been listed.

I think you should have not mentioned anybody's username on this thread or any other thread on the DAC when you are not absolutely/positively sure of your information.

Best to play it safe and don't post a username when in doubt on your part.

Just a word of advice from someone's who's seen some threads that explode when someone's username/reputation is put into question.
