•Prices do not include shipping. Inside the Continental US, models can be shipped any way the buyer wants, shipping rates will apply if shipped overseas.

•All models are in MINT condition, pristine white and with no defects. These models were bought from different sellers in Germany and all of them were shipped from overseas. Some of the boxes show normal shelf wear.

•Models have been taken out of their box a handful of times. They have never been displayed under direct sunlight.

•All models come with genuine certificates and all of them have matching numbers.

•All 3 A300s and the B737 "Passau", come with their display cases (hangar).

•Models will be shipped from Colorado, allow 1 to 2 business days for packaging and shipping.

•PayPal accepted, other forms of payment are not permitted unless the buyer pays for fees. When paying with PayPal, please add 4% of the total amount, otherwise you may pay using the "friends" option which has no cost, unless paying with a debit/credit card.

•If for some reason the buyer is not happy with the model, a full refund will be applied in the same form the payment was made, however, buyer will be responsible for sending the model back. I will take the hit on the original shipping cost as a guarantee that all models are in MINT condition and with no defects.

I paypaled USD284.96 immediately after striking the deal. even i answered your question 4 days ago that canada post has decided not to go into strike for another 30 days. i am yet to hear back about the shipping. i think 13 days after payment too long a time to wait. plz reply ASAP.

Guy travels quite a bit. I bought from him before and he does get back to you, but it can take awhile if he is traveling. I think it took a month or so to get my plane, but I got it in perfect condition.

guys i am resorting to u for advice. this has been 17 days i have paid him. no shipping update, last i heard from him on july 6. i wanted the model, paid his asking price now all quiet on the other end. would be nice to have the plane but then again too much hassle for a already paid plane. not much energy left to deal with cases like this at this age. just want an end to this. should i go via paypal to retrieve my $?

In this day and age where there is access to the internet anywhere and everywhere, I find the travel excuse by another DACer a crap excuse. Unless the person is severely incapacitated or is stuck on a remote island and cutoff from the outside world, it is not acceptable. I don't care how busy you are or what the circumstances are, once the money is accepted you have an obligation to respond and communicate. Case closed.

Can understand the frustuation but as a buyer, I suppose Paypal did provide pretty good buyer protection to the buyer already, may file a claim first and see what's going on next. The timeframe is a little bit longer than usual already and filing a claim can be justifiable at this moment.

I suppose a responsible seller should communicate with "effeciency" with the buyer who has already paid. If the buyer has already had a pre-arranged travel arrangement, he should have at least informed the buyer or any prospective buyer of such arrangement.

If you are selling models,and members purchase,you should ship within a day or two. If your profession takes you away from internet service for long periods of time,you must tell the buyer that. Silence for almost three weeks when you have someones money is totally unacceptable. I was looking at the LH Express,not now.

he was online a week ago. Not much call for that long of a delay in shipping at least not without an explanation. If you are going to accept someone's money you should be on it with getting those models shipped out or communicate your intentions to the buyer.

Sharing my experiences....
I tried calling him/her on phone a couple of times to check if the models were available...Didnt pick my call, didnt get a response to my PM....I decided, well if this is what I am going through even before I buy I better not buy at all...

Finally, I did receive a mail about 6 days after my PM mentioning that all models were available..I politely declined to buy. Feeling sad for a DA.Cer going through these headaches...Hope everything works out....

Travelling is no excuse now a days...If my mother who is completely deaf (aged about 76years) can understand the relevance of Internet, then I believe there is something wrong here...

When I first began collecting, I purchased an A300 from the seller. Did not have a problem. When it arrived damaged, he even made sure I filed a claim with the Post Office and the only delay was in the Post Office paying me back.

A very professional seller. Quite concerned as this is not in character for him

i DID NOT pay as friend. For paying as buyer I paid him 4% extra (seller did not consider a single cent from any perspective). Oh and so far no contact from him via paypal.....

This happened to me years ago before paypal and internet were on the scene I sent a check for payment for a 400 scale model..Never heard back, never got model and seller disappeared..

Turns out several months later I heard from another collector at a show, the seller was arrested for a serious crime and was incarcerated.

I'm not saying that is the case here but there can be several scenarios lets just hope the seller is okay...

Must not be in prison, a person living alone who gets some health problems and must stay for a while in a hospital also "disappears" in a way from public life.

I disagree with you...If he/she (seller) is able to send me a reply after 6 days of my message, then I doubt the person as a whole... Please note, I had sent the message asking the availability after I had seen one of the buyer had already posted a message publicly to this thread mentioning "Already paid for 747 - Bonn"...

So, the seller had already got the money for the 747. Then has seen my message and replied after 6 days...How do you cover that???

u r right. but that could be 1 of many 1000 possibilities. there r histories of burning hands. at least i have 1 right here (3 yrs ago, GJ L1011 widget, before re release, some1 asked to western union the $, i did, then his model fell off from hand bla bla bla, was not returning $, i threatened to report to police for kind of cyber crime, ultimately returned but i paid USD, he paid CAD, with fees n conversion i lost like 20CAD but i still managed to get my $ back. then original account holder claimed some1 hacked into his DAC account and selling model on his behalf, a too clumsy story, i just got out and close the crap with a 20CAD loss and life time lesson). back to current issue.....seller might have issues but i dont have time to wait for some 'possibilities', i paid> want my plane> no plane> gone to paypal.

That's exactly the point. And when it's about money sent to an perfect unknown, it's good to know that Paypal can get it back.

Well, to hack someones DAC account and sell planes, that's a weird way of making money

I am one of these people who work on feedback and "want to trust" but are always beware.

I wonder if there will be any sign from him, now that Paypal has to deal with it.
