Default Patches? We don't need no stickin patches!!!

A collection of my most memorable patches.

So I went out to my local frame shop and got a 20x30' frame with a plastic (NOT glass) facing due to the thickness of the patches. Then I bought a yard of felt and had Deseriee dry mount the felt to the backing board of the frame. Headed off home and started laying out the patches. For the ones that did not have velcro on the backing, I simply used some 3M velcro tape and used a small piece to hold them in place. And the result is as you see below.

If you want to see the 2000x1334 px version, you can click on the link below.

Each story has a patch, be it a crew that I flew with, the patch I wore on my flight suit on my first jet ride, my first trap on an aircraft carrier patch, a squadron that I took pictures of and traded prints for a patch, or patches given to me by the friends I've made along the way. These are my best memories and bring a smile to my face each time I look at them.

Thanks guys! Yeah, these are just a third of the ones I have, but I am planning on making another one for the rest.

Corby, it would be an honor to display a BUFF patch. One of the few planes that I have not done air to air with that I am craving. One day! And if I do...wait, when I do, I'll be sure to send some nice prints your way.

I still owe you one. Just got back from Tblisi, Georgia. sorry I missed the AirShow. It would've been fun to hang out. I'm sure you scammed a ride somehow too! :-)
Take Care,
Jeff

Nah, Travis is tighter then a girl at church. I ended up just getting a performers pass from one of the teams I shoot for and just circumnavigated the whole PA headache. The show was decent. You didn't miss much. But it would have been fun to hang out and make fun of the Thunderchickens.

Welcome back home!
