It's strange to think of how few WWII veterans are left now. I wonder how many 1st hand stories have been lost without ever having been told. I sure miss talking with my grandfather who served in the Pacific Theater. We lose a certain perspective when we lose a generation like that. It makes me think of Civil War Veterans.

In September 2016 they honored him and other Raiders by naming the brand new strategic bomber the B-21 Raider. Those bombers will carry on their legacy for decades to come!!
