I suspect P&W are pleased they didn't win the engine contract for this airframe.

The A400M definitely has issues, but it will still be built. The program has gone too far to cancel now.

The forces signed up for the A400 should have just bought Antonov An70s

Hmmm, I never looked at the AN70 until now, but I do see a lot of the A400M in that plane.
