Default A Japanese Me-109

Hi everyone,

In my first post here, I share the link below that provides a rare photo of a Me-109 used by Japan, with the mark of the Rising Sun emblazoned on the fuselage. Does anyone know if Japan used German fighters in combat? The link also features a selection of photos unimaginable for the High Command of the Luftwaffe at the beginning of WW2, see their powerful Me-109 and Fw-190 fighters captured and tested with allied markings. To view all photos, visit the link below:

Seen similar things to this before, I don't remember the site, but there is one with things like wellingtons etc in German markings, incredible to see. I believe they were used for evaluation and training, unlikely they were using in combat in any numbers for the Japanese either

The Japanese did not use German aircraft during the war. However, several German aircraft were supplied to the Japanese for evaluation and aid in developing their own versions, such as the Ki-61 Tony (engine evals, some structural design elements) and the Ki-200/J8M1 Shusui (Me-163, almost total duplication).
