Default Kmia - 10/21/11

Last Friday was the best day for spotting EVER at MIA.... it was cold, fairly windy and absolutely no clouds... couldn't get any better! also got some new angles this time... (: ...

As soon as I got there "Barbara1521" bound for CCS took off before schedule

Closely followed by this bahamian Dash-8 still in the old livery...

And now the first heavy of my day... Air Berlin bound for... well, Berlin!

This picture sucks, but I show it just for the plane.. bound for Cuba.

First time I see the new Aruban division of Insel!

TACA Close-up...

And no spotting day at Miami would be completed without the undeniable queen of the airport.... Madame A380

Probably my best pic so far... it deserves an HD ;D

Alitalia followed the A380 with a very early take off!

our only regular A321...

Another highlight of the day... ArkeFly bound for AMS!

Some stuff from home....

Speedbird's take off bound for LHR...

Note the smoke coming from the engine!

A Delta Mad-dog...

And the daily Air France 747 to CDG!

Continited 757...

and Continited 737...

Now with the sun beginning to set, this Lufthansa A330 bound for Dusseldorf took the stage...

Light couldn't be better for the appearance of this bird!!

I wish this light stayed the whole day!

The Avianca A330 bound for Bogota with a 2 hour delay and with the very last light of the day....

And to close today's spotting, about 10 minutes after sunset, "Miguel Hernandez" took stage, also with a 2 hour delay! I wouldn't have stayed after sunset, but I couldn't leave without catching my favorite bird!

Thumbs up Re: Kmia - 10/21/11

All I can say is Wow! Those are some fantastic shots, Carlos! That BA 744, Arkefly 763, AZ 772, LH 380, LH A330 and AF 744 shots leave me drooling on the keyboard . Amazing details and the light is great. You take amazing shots with that D3000, what lense did you take these with? I really need to make a visit to MIA. Its been almost 4 years!

Nice man! Where did you take these and what RWYs were they using? It looks like you were either next to the El Dorado when they were using 27 or the 94th Aerosquadron when they were using 9

Love your pics everytime you post here....Keep them coming. Two gorgeous 744 pics of AF and BA. D-AIKL is a regular to YYZ too. Love the name Madame A380

(I just have one disappointment the IB A346 should have been in that gorgeous sunset light!! . You know I love the IB A346s).

Damn Carlos! You really upgraded your camera huh? :P These shots are super cool but I'm sure MIA weather is still warmer than what we're having up here in Toronto.
Keep them coming!

Thanks a lot Freaky!! I doubt D-AIKL is more frequent at YYZ than MIA.... It has come 7 times in the last 8 days...

Oh and well, I was totally hoping to see IB on that light But thanks to Murphy and his laws that wasn't possible
