Now that I hope that is done in 1/400! I'd snap one up straight away.

I don't really collect models of cargo/freight planes, but this I'd buy.

Should it also have the new 'To Fly, To Serve' heraldic crest on it ?

It never ceases to amaze me on what a beautiful airplane the 747 is. Makes the A380 look unfit to say the least!

I love it. It would have been nice if BA order the 747-8i, IMO they are one of the most well known operators and have some of the best looking 747s. But I must admit their colours look good on the freighter.

3 747-8F's will replace the current Global Supply Systems 744F's.

I saw that aircraft this past Tuesday there was just not a good spot to take a photo. Also saw Lufthansa's first 747-8i. Now that I was able to photo, just waiting to get home so I can edit them.

It is a fantastic airplane with a great looking livery. Though it is a pity that BA havent ordered the -8i. Hopefully they will change their mind!

As much as I like raked wingtips on Boeing products, I am going to miss winglets on a 747. A real classy looking and highly functional design feature I thought...

So true. Nothing beats the 747-400, not even the 747-8i. For me the real Queen of the skies will always be the 747-400.
