The chance to catch a wide-body(A340,A332,A333 and B773) in the summer to LHR is like 80% Then the flight will be unforgettable

After like 150 flights with TK in 20 year time I can easily say that they have the best food on board. Of course the tea is also my favourite, but their meatballs (just like at a BBQ), baklava and pistache ice-cream are my favourites. For domestic flights they have also VERY VERY nice sandwiches with some Turkish ingredients :P

Wow . . . that sounds absolutely exotic! A decent cup of tea on an airline. Pity I'm too far out of the loop to experience this airline.

Yup . . . very envious.

A shame North America doesn't have any national carriers on par with the elites of Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Maybe one day...

If airlines actually focused more on passenger comfort instead of greed, then maybe people would want to fly more often in the United States. I don't know anything about Canadian or Mexican airlines so I'll leave them alone.

So true, Canada's carriers are like the ones in the US. Air Canada's service is very bland and average. None of the flight attendants are into smiling that's for sure. However Air Canada's seats are comfortable and the PTV system they've implemented in every class is a great time passer. I prefer Air Canada's economy product over Westjet's in terms of comfort, but WestJet's flight attendants were much friendlier. Neither come close to the airlines listed by SkyTrax though.

Porter is the only 4 star carrier in Canada. I'd love to see them grow with some CSeries aircraft, and extend one of YTZ's runways. (Which is doable but costly)

Just read an article about a first class flight on Cathay that was described as an "experience" more than a 12 hr. transit. You can find it in "first Class Flyer"/ July /Airways Magazine. From what is stated in the review, CX is by far the most sophisticated and detail oriented service conscious carrier going. The article goes on to describe in detail, just how well the needs of the high end ticketed guest are served and anticipated from the moment you step aboard until a well rested arrival. It was a great article and I would have no problem booking with them if asked to make a choice.

Do you have the passenger review on the service and amenities Turkish provided? Sounds interesting-

Cathay Pacific deserve a top 4 place, surpriseing to see Qatar beat Singapore Airlines who my wife loves to travel with and my gran talked about lots on her journeys to australia.

I thought Emirates were better then a top ten place the way everybody talks about them but haveing just flown them in the last few weeks they dont deserve to be in the top 10, great to my kids but dont know how to smile and didnt come up with the big bag of toys they promised my daughter after her tv from dubai-jakarta was a non starter.
