Default Saab 90 Scandia

Hi friends,

I need your help. I want to start work on a small book about the Saab Scandia and I would like to ask you to send me everything that you have and know about the airplane !
Scans from magazines, timetables, everything !
If you made some photos yourself, it would be even wonderful if you could give me permission to use the photo in my book !!

I am really looking forward to hear from you guys !

Thank you very much !
Marc

Saab 90 Scandia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not the best source but a decent start. I hope this helps.

I once own a 1972 Saab 99. It was a maintenance nightmare. I traded it in for a 1975 BMW 2002.

@ Santos : Thank you very much my friend ! I am posting on as many forums as possible. The Scandia was flying for some years and as it also did the Sao Paulo - Rio - Air Bridge, I guess that many people have special memories and stuff about the plane.

@ Mastershake : Thank you very much, but I am going far beyond that point.

@ Tupolev : Strange that you had such problems with your Saab. I am very surprised, because the BMW 2002 is more likely to be considered a maintenence nightmare !

The Saab 99 transmission was replaced shortly after warranty expired. I had to drive miles to find a dealer who could do service work. The BMW 2002 was also a maintenance nightmare. After the Bimmer I have purchased Honda's and have been very happy.
