Cool Re: KMIA Spotting

Great Shots, Carlos! I loved spotting at MIA, even though I didn't really have a good spot or view (fence in the way ) but it was really exciting! I see you've upgraded to a D700! Very nice! I like the effects you used in Photoshop!

But the D700 body is yours? I'm surprised you got something like that! A pro one. I bet your uncle has a 70-300VR, and a 70-200 F2.8, check, maybe i'm right! So what setting did you use for the shots where the backround is blured (like if the plane was going super fast)?

Yup the D700 is mine even though I don't really know how to use it well!! haha actually, It was my uncle's camera until he got a new one and he sold it to me much cheaper to me! haha... for the background blured I used the Panning effect

Nice...where were you standing when you took the picture of the BA 744? Can't be the restaurant, and the side street is too far down the runway to get that shot. Specially one that far up above the fence.

Thats a great new Camera, Carlos! 35x Zoom (150mm lens) that's impressive! It's a lot like my Point and Shoot/SLR crossover but more advanced.

Great photos, The light is beautiful on LH and I love the close-ups! I miss Miami! I must come back soon!
