Frankly, I don't like the look of the A380, because of it's forehead but if it had a 747 style cockpit i maybe willing to change my mind

Actually ... the plane looks REALLY good here ... the gray underbelly makes it look LESS FAT from the front ...

Congratulations to LH for receiving your first A380.
It was about time they got their A380. When I read Lufthansa, I think of the word "Airbus", must because usually when I flew with LH, it was on a 320 family and 340s... So yeah, about time, it gets it's wash down, this fat lady looks great in LH's scheme.

These shots at this angle really make the plane look even fatter! What was their A380s called "Lady Bug" or "Bumble bee", or was it "Lady Bee"...can't recall.

I prefer the A380 over that 747's hump myself. Looking great Lufthansa. Maybe you should order 100 more.

No way bro. The 747 is and will always be better. Atleast it doesn't look like a huge **** everywhere it goes. But yeah the Lufthansa A380 is best

A great picture of a great looking aircraft. The B747 with its hump was considered wierd when it first entered service, now we are so used to it we consider it a classic design. The more I see the A380, the more I like the look of it; and it really looks great in the LH livery.

If Alitalia ever got the A380s they should follow close to LH's registration of D-AIMA , calling it I-MAMA!!

While we're posting Whale shots...this is a very nice one...and probably the best paint job for it.

And as for the A380 compared to the 747....no question! The 747 is far more aesthetically pleasing to the eye...though the A380 is OK

Looks are subjective, but I think the SQ A380 is one of the ugliest. I hate the large, fat, bold font of SQ and their huge flag, it doesnt need to be that big, especially if your airline name is so long.

I like both the A380 and the 747. I really like the look of the 747s nose tumour design, but the A380 looks pretty cool too (mainly for it's sheer size).

I saw a message that the A380 is coming to Amsterdam Schiphol in July, I send them a message, and they returned with the answer, that it probably will land on the 15th of July but it could change..

She might not be as sleek as a 74, but an engineering marvel for sure. Congrats to the big bus and Lufthansa~

Precicely. It's Cool For That Reason Only. Big, Engineering Marvel, Interesting Because it's Different, But Eye Candy It Is Not.
That Picture Comparison Nails It Perfectly.
