I see. So the runway itself, if i look at a layout of YYZ, do aircrafts landing on 06L land from the east to the west, and 06R from west to east?

Here is my video taken from the end of Luke Rd. I wish I stopped on Brittania Rd. though I would have actually seen it land oh well at least I didn't stay at 23 or go to 24L



A bit shaky because I was trying to look at the screen and the plane at the same time

What a coincidence, I also live on Aquitaine Ave, my balcony faces North so I see all the Rwy 05 arrivals

Cripes, I lived at Islington and 401 back in the mid 70's to early 80's! My best friend at the time lived on Bergamot. I can't believe all the changes to what used to be Rexdale Plaza - now the Wal Mart location!

West to East for Rwys 5, 6L and 6R. East to West for Rwys 23, 24L and 24R.

North to South for Rwys 15L/R and South to North for Rwys 33L/R. (sorry, I got on a roll).

OMG! I almost fell off my chair upon reading that we live on the same street!!! I wonder if we live in the same building? My balcony faces East looking directly ahead (obviously, South to the right and North to the left). Do you ever walk at Lake Aquitaine?

Believe me even if it passed by your window you would not know...It's whisper quiet!! Saw it depart at Sydney and compared to the other aircraft, this one lifted quite quietly into the sky!

An absolute MUST if you're spotting at YYZ frequently, the best money you'll ever spend! It's great knowing which runway the a/c will be landing on, listening to conversations between pilot and ATC, etc.

Yes me too! I don't live in any of the buildings around the lake but I go there sometimes

I tried looking out but couldn't see or hear much, I'll try to see it tomorrow if it lands on 05, the dang thing is so quiet!
