Thanks for the update. I am guessing that late 2023 might be a bit optimistic with all the events surrounding the pandemic and the aviation industry. I think it might be later than late 2023. Hoping to see the latest World's Best Aircraft flying passengers soon. Cheers! T7

THAT I call self confidence... Believing to produce 350 779s over a 20 years timeline. Airlines will recover one day - maybe economy passengers will benefit in having more legroom or finally get rid of those 10-abreast 777 seatings.

1.27 million passengers flew yesterday, a pandemic era record. Travel will roar back sooner than most think. I think this program will do well.

I think you're right about this. I feel more people are anxious to get out and travel vs. those who are too scared to. It will depend on how quickly countries lift COVID travel bans.

LH want to have 20 779s in their fleet until 2025. That is pretty ambitious, regarding the fact there are 5 more airlines wanting that plane - one of them EK. If Boeing is smart, they put at least 20 planes and put them on storage to serve the markets needs right from the beginning from 2023.
