Default Re: Aircraft Types You've Flown On?

I have only been keeping track for the past ten years and only included the B-17G and L-10A from before that (both were historical rides that I clearly remember well). I have included some of the airlines I have flown on as well.

Aérospatiale
ATR 42-500 (First Air)

Airbus
A319 (Air Canada)
A320 (Air Canada, United)
A321 (Air Canada)

Beechcraft
1900C (Pacific Coastal Airlines)

Boeing
B-17G Flying Fortress (Aluminum Overcast)
717-200 (Hawaiian)
737-200 (Air North, CP Air, WestJet)
737-300 (Canadian North)
737-400 (Alaska, Air North)
737-500 (Air North)
737-600 (WestJet)
737-700 (Alaska, WestJet)
737-800 (Aeroméxico, Alaska, WestJet)
737-900 (Alaska, United)
777-200 (United)
777-300 (Air Canada)

Canadair
CRJ-200 (Air Canada/Jazz)
CRJ-700 (Air Canada/Jazz)
CRJ-900 (Air Canada/Jazz)

Cessna
152 (Pacific Flying Club)
172 (Pacific Flying Club)
208 Caravan (Air Tindi)

Curtiss
C-46 Commando (Buffalo Airways)

de Havilland Canada
DHC-2 Beaver (Saltspring Air)
DHC-3T Turbo Otter (Air Tindi)
DHC-8 100 Dash 8 (Hawkair, Air Canada/Jazz, Air BC)
DHC-8 300 Dash 8 (Hawkair, Air Canada/Jazz)
DHC-8 Q400 Dash 8 (Alaska/Horizon, Air Canada/Jazz, Porter Airlines)

Douglas
DC-3C Dakota (Buffalo Airways)

Hawker
HS748 (Air North)

Lockheed
CP-140 Aurora (Canadian Armed Forces)
L-10A Electra (CF-TCC Trans Canada Airlines)

McDonnell Douglas
MD-82 (Allegiant)
MD-83 (Allegiant)

Sikorsky
S-76A (Helijet)

I was supposed to be on an Icelandair 757 four days from now, but obviously that can't happen right now.

I have also flown with Canadian Airlines, Wardair, JetsGo, Skyservice, Canada 3000, Royal Airlines, Air Transat, and several other carriers over the years. I don't recall the types. I'm pretty sure I have been on an A330 and an L-1011, but I can't say for certain. Ironically, I have not yet been on a Dash 7 even though I work for one of the last remaining airlines that flies them.

Producing long lists are meaningless without some proof record. Do you all keep a detailed log of your flights or have photos?

Out of all the airliner types I have flown in, this was the one that really meant something to me - the last Vickers Viscount to fly from London Heathrow on 18th April '96. Here are photos I took on the day plus we were given a certificate to mark the event.

Rather cynical view of this threads intent? Meaningless to you maybe, and maybe others also, but the memories of others don't need photos (in many cases mine would have been in-appropriate to take anyway as they were non-rev or jump seat rides) and weren't made with the thought of proving that one was ever on them.

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"

HS748 - Skyways of London (1st ever flight - aged 12)
Dash 8 - Air Ontario / Flybe
Saab 340 - Flybe (noisy as hell in the cabin)
BAC 1-11-400 - British Airways
BAC 1-11-500 - British Airways
HS Trident 3 - British Airways
Boeing 707-400 - British Airtours (sat in cockpit but not flown on)
Boeing 727-100 - American Airlines
Boeing 727-200 - Air France
Boeing 737-200 - Britannia Airways / Ryan Air (oil leaking from engines badly)
Boeing 737-300 - BMA
Boeing 737-400 - Ryan Air
Boeing 737-800 - Ryan Air
Boeing 747-100 - Virgin Atlantic (stuck on tarmac 3 hours before take off from LGW, emergency landing at Miami due to lack of hydraulic control but smooth landing)
Boeing 747-400 - Air Canada (immense power)
Boeing 757 - Britannia Airways / Monarch Airlines / Air Transat
Boeing 767 - Britannia Airways / Zoom Airlines (Comfy but empty)
Boeing 777 - Emirates Airlines
MD80 - American Airlines
Lockheed TriStar - BWIA (looked old but solid)
Tu134 - Malev (been on but not flown)
Airbus A300 - Air France
Airbus A320 - Easyjet / Finnair
Airbus A321 - Easyjet (?)
Airbus A340-300 - Air Canada (very smooth ride)
Embraer 145 - Finnair

I actually don't enjoy flying that much, certainly don't look forward to it, much prefer watching them from terra firmer.

Out of all the airliner types I have flown in, this was the one that really meant something to me - the last Vickers Viscount to fly from London Heathrow on 18th April '96. Here are photos I took on the day plus we were given a certificate to mark the event.
You know what, I understand your viewpoint somehow but this hobby started in the early 90s for me and at that time I was not interested in aviation like i am now - or at least not nessecarily always had a camera in my hand when i was going on a trip. I assume you are referring to the classic stuff, because it is Pretty common to fly on nowadays As or Bs. Sorry, no pics of the Tu-134/MD-80/722 - yet i guess there are some negatives somewhere….the search goes on.

PS: These are pics are taken by myself - NOT from A.net - to avoid misunderstandings.

Why would anyone have proof that they took these flights? This isn't a competition to win a prize. It's just something to do...the overwhelming majority of posts on this site are a general waste of time, including model collecting in general, but it's something that we do because we want to...and there isn't much else to do these days.

I just remember what I've been on and I remember the liveries too, most of them at least. I try to take a photo of all of my flown on models whenever some additional models meeting the criteria have been made even though I don't generally display them like that. But I collect 1/200 so not as much of a selection (yet) as 1/400.
