Default ANZ unveils economy class sleeping pods

Kudos to Air New Zealand for this initiative. Yes, 17 hours flying time would be a bit more manageable if you were able to catch some shut eye while in one of these beds. Cheers! T7

This is a great idea, and a very good start for sleep assistance on long-hauls.

I imagine an A380 being remodeled with seating on one level, and the pods for everyone on another level!

Yes, you have to give kudos to ANZ for trying out new flying accomodations for their passengers. I hear their Skycouch comes in handy for those long haul flights and it's cheaper than their economy premium seats. However, there are only so many Skycouches available. T7
