I like the new logo and shades of blue, otherwise it's pretty generic.

Precisely my thoughts at first, though if you watch the video behind it you'll be somehow positive towards it.
I really like it now, though the old one did have a nice 'sunset' vibe, and I miss that from the logo, but this is a slight improvement.

I like the shade of blue they used a lot. The overall livery is simple, yet bold.

Modern but uninteresting. Aegean has adopted the new trend of having the graphics on the vertical stabiliser extend onto the fuselage.

Agreed. So many airlines are doing this now. Anyone know which airline started it?

Not a big fan, I quite like Aegeans current livery. I always roll my eyes when an airline announces a new livery as it's most likely a bland cost saving eurowhite livery. No airlines nowadays has designed an airline with passion and enthusiasm, it's all about how can we cut costs and save money which is fine, just as long as an airline can admit it.

1971! Wow! From wiki: "To mark the arrival of the new 747 in 1971, the new Qantas livery made the Flying Kangaroo logo the dominant tailfin element and the cheatline color was changed to ochre."

I think the picture I provided is from the late 1980's?

This is from the early 1970's.

It's OK but will just blend in with all the others of the same kind.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but Qantas has had it for a few decades now, but the style seems to have only taken off in the 2010s, the most prominent being American Airlines in 2013.

Yes they have, they've only ever modified it to keep up with the times, same with airlineslike Singapore and Klm.

I don't care for the "Malaysian Airlines" orientation of the "birds" on the tail.
I was hoping more for an inverse of the current scheme which would've ket the birds flying horizontal.
I do like the change in shades of blue.

It’s ok I guess. Nothing remarkable about it, at least it’s not as bland as their present livery.

Neil.
