Default BA A350-1000 to fly LHR-MAD from August

https://simpleflying.com/how-to-fly-...s-airbus-a350/

DOes it make sense to replace a 320 with an A350?

BA always do their training flights of new aircraft to Madrid. I think once they've got crew trained up they're going to be used on the Doha, Toronto, Dubai and Bangalore routes.

Saying that Iberia regularly bring in an A340-600 or A330 into LHR in the evenings for the cargo capacity.

I ask myself if they really fly that route daily. I'd like to get on one of these flights, but i think you must be very lucky to get one. On the BA site there is still the A320 derivatives or the B777 on all flights/details.

Apart from the 13th and 31st of August it's due to fly the daily rotation of BA464/465 to Madrid throughout August. On each Thurs, Sat and Sun it will also fly on the rotation BA456/457.

These training flights are a great way to fly on the heavies without doing long haul. I did the Air France A380 from LHR to CDG when they were first introduced.
