Arrow Fifth door on the 777-9?

....the artworks on the Boeing website show the 779 with only 4 doors per side...does anybody know, why there is a fifth door on the prototype? Was it just a fake to make the Airbus people believe, that the max seating is limited to just 440? Or will the production 779 feature only 4 doors per side...?

The wing obstructs it in this picture. You can see here that it has 5 doors

the pics above are from the actual aircraft, but Boeings artwork looks like THIS. in the last months it always was stated, that the 77X will have 4 doors per side.

Yes he knows that, he is asking why there are 5 doors on the real deal and 4 on the artwork.

Just FYI. In case of B763, there're three configurations.

1. Standard configuration: 4 type A doors and 4 type III doors.
2. Option 1: 6 type A doors and 2 type III doors.
3. Option 2: 6 type A doors and 2 type I doors.

I beleive the number and the position of the doors depend on the operator.

I see what you mean. But i do not understand why you put a fifth door on a 414 seated plane - when you just would need to put it beyond 440.

While yes, it is still under the 440 limit for 8 doors. the majority of seats are behind door 2, 90% of them, it is likely that without the extra pair of exits the back half of the aircraft would not satisfy the 90-second evacuation limit. The additional pair of exits would also give the option for a configuration that would be denser, most carriers configure the 777-300ER with less than 440 seats but take for example Air Canada 777-300ERs have 458 seats, Air France has 468.

Interesting that a new airplane does not generate more interest.

American 737-800 Flagship Liberty I would also like to see Flagship Freedom and Flagship Liberty Jet2 (normal and holiday liveries)
Jet2 (normal and holiday again!) Etihad (both normal and F1 livery) Correct me if im wrong, but isnt a 757-300 mould coming next year also? Boeing House Colours N737BX Air Canada (Burgundy livery) 4-United Express CRJ-200 (Blue tulup and battleship liveries). I would appreciate if one of the 20 happens to be 737-800 D-ATUE in Hapagfly livery.
