This video clearly shows that the aircraft actually was in the air and slammed back onto the runway. Another report I read said it didn't get off the ground. It is remarkable that there were no fatalities. Wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

According to Wiki, this is the fifth incident involving an E-190. All aircraft in the incidents were written off.

Avhearld has a clearer video of the takeoff from the port side.
Accident: Aeromexico Connect E190 at Durango on Jul 31st 2018, veered off and overran runway after rejected takeoff and burst into flames

Sad to see the aircraft destroyed. I flew on it between PIT-CLT when it was N960UW flying for US Airways.
