Well as youmay have sen on the news, US president Donal Trump controversially visited the UK on Friday for formal meetings with the prime minister and the Queen. Afterwards he retired to his luxury Scottish golf resort at Turnberry, not far from Prestwick Airport for a couple of rounds before jetting back out on a wet Sunday ahead of his summit meeting in Helsinki with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
I managed a quick visit on Sunday to watch the VC-25 and supporting C-32 taxi out and depart Scotland. Sadly the beautiful hot summer weather we've been experiencing was replaced for the day by more traditional drizzle

Yes, a nice red white and blue finish is rumoured. Although if Trump and Melania get involved there's bond to be some gold trim and ocelot cushions !

I thought red used to be associated more with Communist bloc, esp the old soviet flag and chinese flag. i guess you could put a little red somewhere that might not spoil the current scheme but can't really put too much red on it. Heck, not even the chinese and soviet painted their aircrafts red....lol...

I don't think Trump is talking about a red Air Force One, more a red, white and blue, stars and stripes based offering. I suppose it could end up looking like Boeing 80's/90's house colours or maybe the America West 'Ohio' 757 scheme...

Trump didn't have the nicest ride going into the G20 as China showed up with their 748! Probably made Trump feel like less of a man and he will probably start using the ol my hands are bigger thing! Here Trump is riding around in a 200 variant! So ghetto!
I know I know, but Air Force One has all the commo gear and counter measures...blah blah blah. Trump needs to light another fire under Boeing like he recently did to GM! How embarrassing, US President, Boeing a US Company, and the Commander and Chief doesn't have the latest equipment!
